Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook nutritious meals according to established menus and dietary guidelines.
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained in the kitchen.
- Assist in the inventory management and ordering of kitchen supplies.
- Collaborate with the care staff to ensure residents' nutritional needs are met.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.
- Participate in special events and themed meals to enhance resident engagement.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a cook in a healthcare or residential setting.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and dietary requirements.
- Culinary degree or certification preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Compassionate demeanor and a passion for serving others.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items as needed in the kitchen.

Compensation: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
